Meet the Author 

Ms. Talethe Collins is a native of Marianna, AR and 2012 graduate of Lee Senior High School. Talethe obtained her BA Degree in 2016 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a declared major in Political Science and minor in Nonprofit Leadership Studies.

 

During that time, she also earned her credential as a Certified Nonprofit Professional with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Previously, she served as the Education Programs Coordinator and currently serve as the College & Career Program Coordinator for UA Little Rock Children International, a non-profit organization. While residing in California, Talethe expanded her career serving as the Program Coordinator for Reading to Kids, a grassroots nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles County whereas she still supports as a volunteer remotely.

 

While finishing her Master's Degree online in Public Administration at Arkansas State University of Jonesboro, Talethe proudly founded the R.E.A.L. Scholars Program to give back to her hometown of Marianna, Arkansas. While serving various roles in the nonprofit sector, Talethe envisioned a children's book "Curious Cassie" to motivate youth on exploring their future career aspirations. As a newly published author, Talethe is elated to share her first children's book to the world.
